Nothing Happier than Heavenly Skies, Wildflowers, & Relaxing

Here is this week’s list of things that make me happy.  Read more about the nothing happier series.

We just got back from a family trip to Island Park.  Island Park is one of my happy places.  We have been there at least once a year for the last 10 years.  It is so beautiful and a great way to disconnect from the world.

Everything on my nothing happier list this week are all from our trip to Island Park.

Heavenly Skies

Nothing makes me happier than heavenly skies.

We left to Island Park after work last Friday.  As we were driving through Pocatello, Idaho, the sun was setting.  The sky was absolutely incredible.  I loved the variation in colors and the pink and purple wispy clouds.

It was a beautiful drive.

Wildflowers

Nothing makes me happier than wildflowers.

While we are winding down in the evening, my kids like to explore the woods around the cabin.  My daughter picked me these pretty wildflowers.

There is beauty all around.

Relaxing

Nothing makes me happier than relaxing.

I think an important part of life and especially vacations is taking some time to relax.  While we were in Island Park, we pulled out a hammock and hooked it up to some trees.  It turned into one of the highlights of the trip.  I loved taking some time to relax in the fresh air and cuddle with my kids.

When I retire, I want to spend a lot of time on the beach relaxing in a hammock.
