I haven’t given up on doing crafts, dreaming up projects for my home, and planning parties for my kids. My friend called me out on my lack of creativity lately the other day while at lunch. It’s true. I haven’t been doing some of the things I enjoy as often as I’d like.
I did find some time to put together some Valentine’s for my kids for their class Valentine’s Day parties at school.
For my daughter’s Valentine’s, I decided to go with the conversation heart theme. I think conversation hearts are super cute and I love the variety of pastel colors. However, I think the candy is gross! I guess I decided to go with something cute over something tasty. The kids won’t mind, right?
When I was little, my mom had a stockpile of conversation hearts in the food storage. My brother and I would sneak in there and enjoy the boxes of treats without her knowing about it (or at least that’s what we thought).
These Valentine’s are very easy to put together and are a simple way to do something a little more unique and creative than the store bought cartoon character Valentine’s.
For instructions on how to put them together, visit my previous post on Valentine’s Day Treat Bag Toppers.
