Last year I saw an idea on someones blog for a Christmas book advent calendar. They had 24 different Christmas books and wrapped them in cute wrapping paper. Each night before bed, they would unwrap a Christmas story and read it as a family. I loved the idea so I immediately went to Amazon.com and bought a bunch of my favorite Christmas books. I didn’t end up doing the books as an advent tradition because we were already well into December when I saw the idea.
This year I opted not to do the Christmas books as an advent. I decided that it would be fun to keep them on a table by our Christmas tree so they are easily accessible for reading.

This one is my kids favorite Christmas book. They love looking through it. The pages are very cute and engaging. I included some pictures of the pages from the book below. There are letters to Santa, a Christmas wish list, a recipe for cookies for Santa, and more! It is fantastic. I highly recommend this book. It is magical!

I just stumbled upon your website. I actually did the book countdown this year. My youngest son loves it. One of his favorite books it The Christmas Cookie Sprinkle Snitcher. It was a favorite when I was growing up and my sweet sister found it for us.
