Friday 5 - Typography, Beautiful Bedding, Don't Worry Be Happy, Plastic Animal Art, & M&M Cookies

Here are the 5 random things that make me happy this week.

1: Typography

This book would be the perfect gift for me. I love coffee table books (although I don’t have many and don’t keep them out due to little hands), I love sketching, and I love typography.

2: Beautiful Bedding

I have been working on my kids bedroom makeovers the last couple of months and I’m thinking the master bedroom should get a revamp as well. I love this bedding from Anthropologie. Maybe this bedding will make it to my bedroom…

3: Don’t Worry, Be Happy

I love this song. Love, love it. It is quite corny and definitely silly, but it reminds me of happy times when I was a little kid. My mom and dad would play it and we would dance around while whistling and clapping.

I was reminded of it this week when making a decoration for my daughter’s room. She said she wants some decorations that say “Be Happy.” I just ordered a 2′ x 3′ poster with those inspiring words. I like her style.

4: Plastic Animal Art

I love this idea for a playroom. When my oldest kids moved downstairs, my son took over the playroom. When I’m done with their rooms, maybe I will decorate a playroom area and include these darling canvases.

5: M&M Cookies

My husband loves M&M cookies. Really, how could you not love them? It’s Friday. Maybe we will need to make it a treat night…

We have had a great week. I have loved watching the Olympics at night with the family. We don’t have any big plans this weekend and I love it! There is nothing better than a low-key, go with the flow weekend.
