Here are the 5 random things that caught my eye this week that make me happy.
1: Tooth Fairy

My daughter lost her 7th tooth last night. She writes notes to her tooth fairy whose name is Amanda. Amanda writes notes back to her and leaves fairy dust.
2: Lights
This song makes me happy this week. It is unique and kind of has a mystical feel to it.
3: Oh Happy Day
Jordan Ferney may be the most creative person in all of blogger world. I am amazed every week with the unique and incredible ideas she comes up with.
From the styling to the photography she is unmatched. Some of my favorite of her more recent ideas are a giant ice cream sundae, a DIY bride kit, and a fruit balloon garland.
4: Hunger Games
I finally read The Hunger Games!
I know. I know. I’m late to the game. It took me 7 months to read. Well, not really, but kind of. I went to buy it on Amazon shortly after Christmas and saw that I could check it out for free with my Prime membership. The caveat being that you need to own a Kindle. Feeling a little impulsive and rich-from-Christmas-cash, I bought a Kindle. eBooks are now my preferred way to read.
I took some time to read it this weekend and loved it! It was very intense and engaging. I haven’t watched the movie, but I’m hoping I can get some free-time this weekend to go see it.
5: Wishing Flowers

I was on a hike with a group for girls in our neighborhood today. We saw a bunch of these “flowers” along the path. I don’t think these should be called dandelions because dandelions are yellow and don’t have magical powers.
One person said they are called Wishing Flowers. One person said they are called Puff Balls. Maybe they can be called Wishing Puff Ball Flowers.
Happy Friday!
It has been a busy week. I didn’t get as many posts up this week as I had planned. Oh well!
I have two kids with birthdays in the next month and a half, so I’m looking forward to some birthday projects. We also have been in the process of moving the kids downstairs and the office up. I’ve started working on decorating their rooms and I can’t wait to share.
I hope you have fun weekend plans.
