I was involved in several extra-curricular activities in high school and one of my good friends would repeat a quote to get us motivated on game day. “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better best.” I have always loved this catchy and clever saying.

The school year is wrapping up. My kids have had wonderful teachers. I have so much respect and admiration for teachers. They are hard workers, loving, dedicated, and patient. They possess some of the most important influence on the future of our world.

At back-to-school night earlier this year, I noticed a saying on the teacher’s desk. It was the same quote my good friend would repeat for inspiration in high school. “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better best.”

My daughter has also noticed this quote and her teacher told her it was her favorite quote. Bingo! I decided to create a gift with the framed quote to give to her as an end of year teacher appreciation gift.

I love this quote and think it would be perfect for any teacher. I found a cute frame and did a DIY frame makeover. You could also use this frame in your home decor or in a child’s bedroom. It is encouraging and great inspiration for anyone.

Free Teacher Appreciation Printable

I made both landscape orientation and portrait orientations of this printable. They are both sized 5×7. There is also a coordinating tag that says “Thank you for helping me to be my best.” I will show you how I packaged it all up tomorrow.
