School started! Woo hoo! Hip, hip, hooray!
It is so nice to be back to a sustainable routine. I am still trying to figure out what our fall routine will be, but I’m very grateful for the new hours in our home.
Here are my picks for the nothing happier series.
Sunflowers
When are start to see sunflowers popping up along the rode, my heart skips a beat. It is one of the first signs that fall is on it’s way.
If sunflowers make your heart smile, you’ve got to check out this post by Meg Duerksen. What beautiful photography. I love Meg’s blog. At the end of the post she says that she could be a flower farmer and take pictures of flowers all day long. Maybe I will join her…
Mountains
I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Sure, it’s a desert, but it has some of the most diverse and amazing geographic locations anywhere. I had to take a geography class in college to meet my general education requirements. The one thing I remember from that class is that Utah has a very unique geography that geographers from all over the world come to study.
I think I take for granted the majestic beauty of the mountains in my back yard. They are truly incredible.
Calming Sound of the River
While I was on my nature drive today, I heard the most beautiful sound. It was the sound of the river gently winding through the mountains. The sound of the river is so calming and relaxing.
What a beautiful world we live in!
I have a hard time narrowing down pictures and selecting my favorites, so I’ve decided to create a Flickr account to display additional pictures. You can see more pictures from this week’s nothing happier series in the Sunflowers in the Rocky Mountains set.
What is making you happy this week? What are your favorite signs of fall?
