Friends, we are only days away to the official start of summer! Today I’ve got a fun twist to a summer classic… a Patriotic S’more!
Aren’t they cute!
To create the star cut-outs took a little playing around. I found that spraying a mist of water on the graham cracker and then placing in the microwave for around 40 seconds seemed to work the best.
Then with my star cutter I gently pressed through the graham cracker.
If you feel it resisting as you press through, just put it back in the microwave for another 20 seconds.
Of course you could use any cookie cutter shape you’d like… the possibilities are endless.
What a fun idea for a summer birthday party or a 4th of July Party!
So how are you getting ready for summer??
This is an easy link-up party, meaning no link-back or button is required… but always appreciated! (you can grab the button on the sidebar)
Only requirement… it must be summer related. Share with us your summer décor, recipes, crafts, how you plan to keep the kiddos busy during summer… so inspire us… how are you counting down?

I never would have thought that graham crackers could have been punched through without crumbling. The star cutouts are too cute. Thanks so much for the tip, Maryann!
